Another try?

Well lets take another swing at this blogging thing.

Two of the 'wonders of my life' are off together having fun in Europe and NOT sharing their adventures with ME, their MOTHER! Imagine!?! I KNOW!!

I did however, FINALLY hear from them this morning, so I know they are alive and well and having the time of their lives . . .

oh to be a fly on the wall - or better yet a birdie on their shoulder!

Ready or not . . .

The holidays are rapidly upon us! I finally got the tree decorated, the candles in the front windows, and Bob and I hung the outside wreaths this weekend before it got so cold again. We had 60 degree weather that came with 40 mph winds! (I think the wreaths are still attached tho!)

The good news is all the 'kids' are coming for the holidays! The Big Guy has his last final tomorrow, so will be the first to arrive and last to leave in January. It's always nice to have the boy home. Then the Big Kid is flying into Chicago from Luxembourg on the 22nd -- hopefully The Boy will drive up and bring her and Miss Moe her doggie back. And the Wonder Kid arrives on the 24th! It will be great to have everyone together, and nice that, for the first time in FIVE years, BigKid won't have to race back the day after for basketball - she actually doesn't have to fly back out of KCI until the 5th.

Sidebar Frustrations

OK! Well I've changed templates a bunch of times, done some editing, added some html code to decorate the header as well as added this lovely holiday background. AND I'm adding this new post in the last hope of having 'accidentally fixed' my sidebar. If this doesn't work, it would seem the only 2 choices I have are to just LIVE with my sidebar at the bottom (which is really frustrating since I've done so much to pretty up the page) or to start a whole new blog and hope the problems don't follow.

Anybody out there have any other suggestions???
